Offersøykammen is a Mountain and Hiking Trail in Norway

Offersøykammen is a mountain on the island of Vestvågøy in Lofoten, standing above the Nappstraumen strait south of Leknes. It is small by Lofoten standards, but the ridge is steep and the summit repays the short, sharp climb. A well-worn trail switchbacks up from the roadside near Offersøy and reaches the top in an hour or so. From there the view runs across the strait to Flakstadøya, down over green farmland and pale beaches, and out to the open sea. Grass and heather cover the lower slopes in summer, grazed by sheep, while snow lingers on the mountain through much of the year. At around 68°N, deep in the auroral zone, its winter skies turn fully dark, and the northern lights are seen often above the ridge and the water below.
