65°42'43"N, 16°46'24"W
The aurora season here runs from September to April, with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights in October, February and March. With minimal light pollution, Krafla could offer a dramatic backdrop for aurora viewing.
Free toilets, free hot chocolate and free coffee at the Krafla power station visitor centre.

Definitely do the trek around the volcano craters, don't drive past, from the road it's not obvious where everyone is going. Touch the earth's heat with your hands.
Обязательно сделайте трек вокруг кратеров вулкана, не проедте мимо, с дороги не очень понятно куда все идут. Потрогайте руками жар земли
