Itärinteet, the East Slopes, are part of the Levi ski area, a set of runs on the eastern side of the fell. Served by lifts in winter, they offer skiing and snowboarding for a range of abilities amid the quiet fell scenery. At around 68°N, deep in the auroral zone, the open slopes can offer the northern lights on a clear evening.
