Levin Rinteet is a Ski Resort and Area and Ski Trail in Sirkka, Finland

Levin Rinteet (Levi Slopes) refers to the main ski area on the northern and western faces of Levi fell, centred around the village of Sirkka in Finnish Lapland. Together with the southern slopes, they form the Levi ski resort; the largest in Finland, with over 40 runs and 25 lifts serving a vertical drop of around 325 metres. The north-facing slopes tend to hold their snow well throughout the season, which runs from November to May, and the resort invests heavily in snowmaking to ensure coverage even in lean years. Runs range from wide, gentle beginner slopes near the base to longer intermediate cruisers and a handful of steeper options higher up, plus a terrain park and dedicated children, s area. The slopes are fully floodlit during the dark winter months, allowing skiing to continue well into the evening, a necessity at this latitude, where the sun doesn, t rise at all for several weeks around the winter solstice. The village of Sirkka at the foot of the fell is the main hub, with ski rental, ski schools, hotels, cabins and restaurants all within walking distance of the lifts. At nearly 68°N, Levi sits squarely under the aurora oval. The fell, s summit provides 360-degree views across flat, forested Lapland, and on clear nights the Northern Lights are regularly visible directly from the slopes, an experience few ski resorts in the world can offer.
