Torneälven is a River in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden

The Torne is one of the great wild rivers of northern Sweden, rising near the Norwegian border and running southeast past Kiruna and the village of Jukkasjärvi on its long course to the Baltic. Its clear waters are famous for rafting and fishing, and the ice harvested from the river each winter is used to build the celebrated Icehotel at Jukkasjärvi. Flowing through dark wilderness at around 68°N, its banks give fine open views for the northern lights.
