Camp Alta is a Campground at Altajärvi 12: 6, Kiruna, Sweden

Camp Alta is a lodge and campground in the forest and fells southeast of Kiruna, a peaceful base away from the town. It offers cabins and a wood-fired sauna, and runs activities through the seasons, from husky trips to aurora watching. Out in the dark countryside at around 68°N, deep in the auroral zone, it is a fine place to see the northern lights on a clear winter night.

  • Amazing place and very good value, short distance from Kiruna. Snow mobile tour & husky dogs are a must. Bring your own food for the communal camp fire ☃️❄️️⛷👍🏻
