Skógafoss is a Waterfall and Scenic Lookout at Skógafoss, Skógar, Iceland
Halló, this is Iceland on Foursquare. Skógafoss is one of my highest waterfalls. Many people like to visit it and sometimes they get a little bit wet. (Note: That is like it should be.) It also has a nice bench for you to sit on if you are tired.

The aurora season here runs from September to April, with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights in October and March. With minimal light pollution, Skógafoss could offer a dramatic backdrop for aurora viewing.

The walk to the lookout is totally worth it. Its a steep climb but take breaks. Walk past the look out upstream for another mini waterfall view.

The main thing is to get here no later than 15:30 and without rain, the view is mesmerizing and the wall of droplets is like a fairy tale or dream that you walk through. We'll definitely come back here again...
Главное сюда попасть не позднее 15.30 и без дождя, вид завораживает и стена капель словно сказка или сон, внутри которой ты идешь. Еще раз сюда обязательно приедем ...
