Nanortalik Outdoor Museum is a History Museum in Greenland
The Nanortalik Outdoor Museum is an open-air museum in the old harbour quarter of Nanortalik, the southernmost town in Greenland. A cluster of preserved timber and turf buildings, among the oldest in the country, has been gathered here to show how people lived in the colonial era and before, from a smithy and warehouses to traditional Inuit dwellings. A vivid window onto South Greenland's past, in a town whose name means the place of polar bears.
