Katuaq is a Movie Theater at Imaneq 21, Nuuk 3900, Greenland

Katuaq is the cultural centre of Nuuk and of Greenland as a whole, a striking modern building whose undulating golden-wood facade was inspired by the curtains of the northern lights. Inside are concert and performance halls, a cinema, exhibition spaces and a café, and it hosts everything from films and concerts to conferences and festivals. The hub of cultural life in the Greenlandic capital.

The aurora season here runs from September to April, with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights in October, February and March. Why not catch a show at Katuaq and keep an eye on the sky afterwards for the Northern Lights.
