The aurora season here runs from October to February, with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights in November, December and January. Stationen could be a good place to fill up before heading out on a night’s aurora hunting.

  • A nice place to eat good meat and drink good wine or a Svalbald beer. Open until 2.00 but the kitchen closes at 22.30. Polite and nice staff.
