North Pole Expedition Museum is a History Museum at Vei 401 - 18, 9999 Svalbard, Svalbard and Jan Mayen
The North Pole Expedition Museum in Longyearbyen tells the story of the daring attempts to reach the North Pole from Svalbard. Its collection focuses on the pioneering airship and balloon expeditions of the early twentieth century, among them Amundsen and Nobile's flights over the pole, with original artefacts, photographs and film. A gripping record of Arctic exploration in the age of the airship.
