Børsen Spiseri is a seafood restaurant on Svinøya, a small island on the edge of Svolvær in Lofoten. It is set in a restored old quayside building, once a general store and trading house, with worn timber and low beams kept from its working days. The kitchen cooks fresh local ingredients from around the islands, with an emphasis on seafood. Its spot out over the water gives an open view across the harbour, an easy place to watch for the northern lights on a clear winter evening.

  • A real food experience in Svolvaer. It is good, perhaps no ways better of the contenders but still: it has name, reputation, good location and retro style making it overall the best place in town.
