Midnattssolstigen is a Hiking Trail in Kiruna, Sweden

Midnattssolstigen, the Midnight Sun Trail, climbs the slopes of Luossavaara above Kiruna. The path winds up through birch to the open top, named for the summer nights when the sun never sets and the whole landscape glows in low golden light. The views over the town and fells are superb, and in the dark months the same high ground is a prime perch for the northern lights.
