Pyramid Mountain is the striking reddish peak that rises above Jasper to the northwest, its near-symmetrical shape a landmark over the town. Reflected in the still waters of Pyramid and Patricia lakes at its foot, it is one of the most photographed sights in the area. Trails and quiet roads lead toward it, and in the dark-sky park its silhouette makes a fine backdrop for the stars.
