Mount Edith Cavell is one of the most imposing peaks near Jasper, named for a British nurse executed in the First World War. A winding road climbs toward it, and a trail leads to the foot of the Angel Glacier, which clings to the mountain's north face above a small lake dotted with icebergs. The higher Meadows trail climbs through alpine wildflowers with grand views. A breathtaking and historic corner of the park.
