The aurora season here runs from October to March, with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights in October, November, February and March. With minimal light pollution, Lake Annette could offer a dramatic backdrop for aurora viewing.
Less tourism here makes the hike around the lake very appealing

Gorgeous views from the trail around the lake. The trail is paved & wheelchair accessible & no bikes are allowed which makes the walk peaceful. Water is crystal clear
