Siida is the Sámi Museum in the village of Inari, the national museum devoted to Sámi culture and the regional museum for the cultural landscapes of the Finnish Sámi homeland. Its collections hold the spiritual and material heritage of the Finnish Sámi, brought to life through exhibitions that trace the history, livelihoods and traditions of the people and the nature of the far north. An open-air section outside adds old buildings and structures set among the fells, making it the natural first stop for anyone wanting to understand this corner of Lapland.
