Riley Creek Campground is the largest campground in Denali National Park, tucked into the spruce forest near the park entrance. Open to tents and RVs, it stays busy through the summer and is an easy base for exploring, close to the visitor centre and the start of the park road. Set among the trees at around 63°N, well within the auroral zone, it is a fine place to catch the northern lights on a dark night once the season turns.
