Denali is the only national park in the United States with a working team of sled dogs, and the kennels near the park headquarters are open to visitors. The dogs help rangers patrol the vast wilderness in winter, much as they have since the park's early days. In summer, demonstrations show the teams in action, and visitors can meet the friendly huskies and learn about their year-round life in the park.
