Höfnin is a cosy, family-run restaurant on the harbourfront in downtown Reykjavík, opened by Brynjar and Elsa in 2010. It occupies one of the aqua-green timber houses built on the quay in the 1930s, which served in their day as baiting sheds and stores for fishing gear, and the owners have taken care to keep the building's old character and soul. Fittingly, the kitchen makes the most of fresh Icelandic seafood, served with views over the water.
