Suomen Latu Kiilopää is a fell centre and hostel at the foot of Kiilopää, on the edge of Urho Kekkonen National Park. It offers comfortable lodging, hearty food and the chance to unwind in a traditional smoke sauna, and runs free guided outings into the national park. It makes a welcoming base for exploring the fells, and at around 68°N the surrounding wilderness is dark enough for fine northern lights on a clear winter night.
