Eymundsson is a grand bookshop and stationer in the heart of Akureyri, one of the finest in Iceland. Its shelves hold a broad range of Icelandic and foreign books and stationery alongside the largest music and DVD department of any Eymundsson store in the country. There is a lively children's section, plus bags, toys, magazines and a good spread of Icelandic crafts, woollens and souvenirs. A café upstairs rounds it off, serving first-rate coffee from Te & Kaffi, making it a comfortable place to browse and linger.
