Monte Rosa is a family-owned steakhouse in the centre of Rovaniemi, on Maakuntakatu, that has hosted locals and travellers to Lapland for more than thirty years. Those years have honed its steak cooking to a fine art and made it one of the city's most atmospheric gathering places. Nurturing its Lappish roots, it serves classic local dishes alongside modern flavours from around the world, with tasty Lappish specialities, a good wine list and a famously large gin and tonic to round things off.
