Tikkalaavu is a Hiking Trail in Sodankylä, Finland

Tikkalaavu is a lean-to campfire shelter on the trails around Luosto, one of the simple laavu that dot the fells of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. A place to rest, grill sausages over an open fire and shelter from the weather, it is a classic feature of Finnish outdoor life. Out in the dark wilderness at around 67°N, it makes a fine pause under the northern lights.
