Pub Hölmölä is a cheerful, comic pub on Levin Tori square in Levi, open from morning until late. Its name and spirit come from the old Finnish folk tales of Hölmölä, a village whose people see everything back to front and land themselves in all sorts of muddles. Alongside a broad range of beers, fresh fruit arrives from warmer countries every week and gets whizzed up into cocktails that are every bit as popular as the brews. The kitchen turns out Mexican street food with a Lapland twist, from tacos and burritos to quesadillas, tostadas and nachos, and it is all available to take away too.
